ABC’s new hit show ‘How To Get Away With Murder’ is making waves as yet another successful show under Shonda Rhimes belt, along with writer/creator Pete Nowalk. With an incredible cast including well known actors such as Viola Davis (The Help), Jack Falahee (Twisted), and Katie Findlay (The Killing, The Carrie Diaries), this show has the talent to back up the plot line. We got the opportunity to talk with Jack Falahee, who plays Connor Walsh, about his role, working with this cast, and what else he may have up his sleeve.

KRISTIN: You are making quite the name for yourself these days, with your role in the TV series Twisted last year and now in ABC’s new hit show How To Get Away With Murder? Can you tell us briefly how you got started in entertainment?
JF: I became interested in theater at a young age but hadn’t considered pursuing it professionally until a student from the University of Michigan’s musical theater program saw me in a high school production of High School Musical and urged me to consider auditioning for collegiate programs. Under his mentorship and coaching I was accepted to New York University where I studied everything from Sondheim to Shakespeare. Upon graduating from NYU I stayed in NYC for a few years and worked on several independent films before making the move to LA to join the cast of Twisted.

KRISTIN: You play Connor Walsh on ‘How To Get Away With Murder’. We’ve been hooked from episode one. What else are we going to see from Connor this season?
JF: It’s so nice to hear that you’re a fan of the show. Thanks for watching. We will continue to see Connor try his best to survive 1L and impress Annalise at the same time.

KRISTIN: This show is kind of unique because we are watching their life during this class play out while also getting glimpses of months later at what has come about. Are we going to continue to see these flashes back and forth as we piece together what is happening?
JF: Yes.

KRISTIN: Shonda Rhimes is the writer of this show and is known for making long lasting incredibly content. On top of that the cast is amazing. What is it like working with all these talented individuals?
JF: Pete Nowalk is actually the writer/creator of the show which is part of the Shondaland family. Shonda Rhimes is an executive producer on HTGAWM. Pete, Shonda, Betsy and our casting director, Linda Lowy, did an incredible job with casting. It truly is a delight to be able to come in to work each day and collaborate with this cast. It’s an extremely professional and enthusiastic set. We’ve been working together for about 8 months now (since we shot the pilot) and it’s been quite a delight to see how we’ve become a little family. Everyone is very supportive and generous with their time and talent. I feel lucky.

KRISTIN: Is there anything else you can tell us about the upcoming episodes without giving too much away?
JF: No. I dare not reveal anything. You’ll have to tune in to see!

KRISTIN: How To Get Away With Murder is just one of your projects. Do you have any other that we should be on the lookout for?
JF: Most recently I can be seen in Rage starring Nicolas Cage. Next up is Blowtorch with Jared Abrahamson.

KRISTIN: Where can we follow you online to keep up to date on your work?
