How to Get Away with Murder

“It’s Time to Move On” – Annalise and her students must move on with their lives as though nothing has happened, but the students are still reeling over Rebecca’s disappearance. Only Annalise and Frank know that Rebecca was murdered and the two are determined to find out who killed her. Meanwhile, Annalise decides she wants to take on a new client, a brother and sister who are accused of killing their parents. And an old friend surprises Annalise at home and teaches her a valuable lesson, on the highly anticipated season premiere of “How to Get Away with Murder,” THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 24 (10:00-11:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

“How to Get Away with Murder” stars Academy-Award Nominee Viola Davis as Professor Annalise Keating, Billy Brown as Detective Nate Lahey, Alfred Enoch as Wes Gibbins, Jack Falahee as Connor Walsh, Aja Naomi King as Michaela Pratt, Matt McGorry as Asher Millstone, Karla Souza as Laurel Castillo, Charlie Weber as Frank Delfino and Liza Weil as Bonnie Winterbottom.

“It’s Time to Move On” was written by Pete Nowalk and directed by Bill D’Elia.

“How to Get Away with Murder” is created and executive-produced by Pete Nowalk (“Scandal,” “Grey’s Anatomy”). Shonda Rhimes (“Scandal,” “Grey’s Anatomy”), Betsy Beers (“Scandal,” “Grey’s Anatomy”) and Bill D’Elia (“The Crazy Ones,” “Boston Legal”) also serve as executive producers. “How to Get Away with Murder” is produced by ABC Studios.

The September 11 issue of Entertainment Weekly is available on four different covers featuring the shows run by Shonda Rhimes. Two TGIT promos have been released as well. Check them out below!

Update: Added 3 scans from the issue featuring the casts portrait and a scoop on Connor for the second season!

Entertainment Weekly has released a portrait featuring the casts of Grey’s Anatomy, Scandal, and How to Get Away with Murder! The Shondaland issue of Entertainment Weekly is out on Friday.

“How To Get Away With Murder” wrapped up its first season with a killer twist Thursday night, and a killer confirmation — the series will be returning for Season 2.

Though ABC has not officially announced the renewal, the promo following the freshman finale revealed a new season will debut this fall (watch above).

“Thank god we’ll be back with a whole new season of insanity,” the end-of-episode promo teased.

Creator Pete Norwalk also tweeted that Season 2 is awaiting, complete with a hashtag, after the first season finale aired on the west coast.

It’s no surprise “HTGAWM” will be returning — the Shondaland drama is one of the highest rated new series of the season, only behind Fox’s “Empire,” and ranks as the top-rated 10 p.m. drama in the 18-49 demo.

Plus, Viola Davis, who won the SAG Award for her portrayal as Prof. Annalise Keating, teased a second season on social media earlier this year.

“Onto SEASON 2 BABY!!!!!” the SAG winner tweeted.

ABC declined to comment.
